A Day In The Life

  • Qualifying and producing quality leads for the Sales Executives.
  • Assisting sales and marketing executives with various direct marketing activities and programs.
  • Interacting by phone and email with key personnel up to, and including, C-Level executives.
  • Acquiring and maintaining a working knowledge of the complete capabilities of Logan Data’s service offerings.
  • Analyze prospect’s needs, understand business processes, identify projects, determine requirements, and ascertain potential solutions.
  • Contacting various senior level executives and schedule tele-conferences, Web meetings, and face to face meetings for sales team
  • Sourcing contacts and leads in the areas of business including but not limited to Healthcare, Financial, Life Sciences & Higher Ed
  • Effectively leveraging telephone, email, LinkedIn, and other proven methods to engage prospects.
  • Participating in marketing programs, such as creation and maintenance of mailing lists, invitations, sales symposiums, and trade shows.
  • Maintaining and updating HubSpot(CRM) with daily activity logs and manage data quality.

Integrations Developers

Logan Data Inc( Westford,MA) seeks Integration Developers.

JOB DUTIES:

  1. Responsible for the ETL data integration process which is accomplished through the use of Informatica Power center/Microsoft SSIS/SnapLogic/Informatica Cloud/Dell Boomi tool set.
  2. Perform data object analysis by defining, analyzing, and validating data objects and relationship through the use of advanced PL/SQL or T-SQL scripting and Informatica/SSIS toolset.
  3. Design, develop and maintain ETL data integration process with the Business Intelligence and IT team.
  4. Implement data objects and integrating data shared across multiple source and target systems. Establish interfaces, developing and modifying functions, programs, routines, and stored procedures to export, transform, and load data.
  5. Coordinating actions among developers, production control, DBA, infrastructure team and project vendor to implement out the ETL scripts and objects.
  6. Validates ETL by developing and executing test plans and scenarios including data design and data quality.
  7. Perform and maintain performance of data warehouse by identifying and resolving data conflicts, optimizing databases, networks and hardware.
  8. Prepare LLD/ detailed design documents based on HLD and briefing from Module Lead.
  9. Develop test cases for each module.
  10. Conduct / guide unit testing and integration testing and fix defects.
  11. Review and approve code to be moved to testing environment.
  12. Provide support to ETL Developer and coordinate for various phases of testing.
  13. Investigate critical defects and establish need for fixing.
  14. Share activity status with supervisor and highlight concerns if any.

REQUIREMENTS:

Master’s degree in computer science or related field plus 2 years of IT data integration experience (pre-Master’s experience acceptable).

Experience to include in the following:

  1. Demonstrated experience in ETL using Snaplogic, Workato & Informatica in Business Intelligence (BI) domain.
  2. Demonstrated experience in Oracle and SQL Server
  3. Demonstrated experience in using data warehouse concepts
  4. Demonstrated experience working on Managed Services teams/projects
  5. Strong written and verbal communication skills 

*Experience may be gained concurrently. **Demonstrated experience is deemed equivalent to at least 6 months of work experience
